Founders' Day & World Thinking Day

New St Peters Church, Stockbridge

Sunday 25th February 2018, 10:45am

Worldwide in nearly all Scout associations, Founders' Day is celebrated on 22 February, the birthday of Robert Baden-Powell, 1st Baron Baden-Powell (born in 1857), the founder of Scouting and Guiding, and coincidentally also of his wife Olave Baden-Powell (born in 1889). The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) also chose this date as their World Thinking Day, again as it was the Baden-Powels' birthday.

This year we are celebrating Founders' Day and World Thinking Day for guiding and scouting members new and old, on Sunday 25th February, at the New St Peters Church, Stockbridge, at 10:45am, all are welcome!

Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to meet at the Scout Hut at 10:25 please.
